KARACHI: Multan Sultans beat Quetta Gladiators successfully in Monday’s last night match, with the help of Amazing Bowling Spell from David Willey and also with the help of outstanding 88-runs Knock of Shan Masood.
The Gladiators were assuming victory in the last over when they needed eight runs on six balls, but the outstanding bowling from Willey doesn’t permit the Gladiators to achieve that score.
David Willey dismissed two players in his last over—[Sohail Tanveer (13) and Naseem Shah (1)]—-to make Sultans win by six runs, as Gladiators were all-out at 168, with a ball remaining.
The top order was delivered back early, with Ahsan Ali scoring 24 runs and Will Smeed making just 3 runs. Ben Duckett stand on the pitch and scored 47 runs but he was also dismissed and after that, no one is able to make the score higher.
Khushdil Shah, David Willey, and Imran Tahir picked up 3 wickets and destroyed the batting line of Gladiators badly.
Multan Sultans are still at top of the points table with 6 points and they have not yet lost a single match they’ve played so far.
